Tattoo Placement For the Modest Girl

Are you one of the thousands of people who would like a tattoo but are afraid of what your parents, boss, or friends would think?  Don't worry, if you want to be more modest about your tattoos you can have it applied in an inconspicuous space that will only be seen by those closest to you.

1.  Lower Back Tattoo.  These tattoos are located on the lower back and are popular with women.  They are usually only seen if wearing a bikini or low rise jeans; however, you can show them off at will.  As with all tattoos, there are pros and cons with this location.  For one, the lower back designs all pretty much look the same.  There is little originality.  However, if you offset the design to the right or left of the spine or if you add other elements on either side of the tattoo, it can become more unique.  Another drawback to a tattoo on the lower back is that it is one of the more painful places to receive one.  In general, if the tattoo is applied closer to the bone, then it will be more painful.  The more fat/muscle there is, the less painful.

2.  Lower abdominal/stomach tattoo.  This is another inconspicuous area to have a tattoo and is one of the sexiest places to get one.  A tattoo on the lower abdominal/stomach area will only be seen when you want it to be seen.  It can be viewed as very sexy and an unexpected surprise by your lover.   Unfortunately, there can also be a drawback to this type of tattoo.  For one, pregnancy or weight gain can change the how your tattoo will look, as the abdomen is sure to expand with pregnancy and weight gain.  Also, it is more difficult for the tattoo artist to stretch this part of the body, so make sure you go to a trustworthy and experienced tattoo artist.    Also, healing time may take a bit longer for a tattoo on the lower abdomen/stomach, as clothing tends to be in constant contact with this area.

3.  Bra Strap Tattoo.  This is another modest area to get a tattoo.  Most of the time, no one will ever know you have a tattoo, as it is hidden under your bra strap but if you want to show it off, you still have that option. Word or saying tattoos work well for this area, as it is a long and slim space.  Choose this tattoo carefully so as to not be self conscious if you decide to wear a strapless dress.  A drawback to this location for a tattoo is that this area usually comes in direct contact with clothing, which may irritate the tattoo and cause increased healing time.

4.  Wrists.  The inside of the wrist is another popular location for a modest tattoo.  This can be covered with jewelry, if you so choose, or shown off as your "jewelry".   It could be a tribal type tattoo or maybe a butterfly.  This is another place on the body that is close to the bone and may be a little more painful when applied.  Keep in mind, this tattoo will be more difficult to conceal.

5. Ankle.  A small tattoo on the ankle is less noticeable than other areas, as most it is lower on the body and most people never notice it.  Of course, a tattoo on the outer ankle or front of the ankle will be more visible.  If you usually wear sandals without hosiery, then irritation should not be a problem.  Just like the tattoos located on the wrist, tribal or insect themes are a popular choice for the ankle area, and just like the wrist tattoo these can be more painful due to the closeness to the bone.

6.  Back of the Neck.  This is a great tattoo location for modest girls, if you have long hair, as this tattoo will not be seen unless you wear your hair up or choose to show it off.  A tattoo in this location is usually small and may be either a flower, insect like a butterfly, or a symbol.  Unfortunately, again, this location  is closer to the bone, so pain will be greater at application, however, since this area does not usually come in contact with clothing, healing should not be a problem.

If you really would like to have a tattoo but are afraid of what other people will think, remember, there are modest places to conceal your tattoo where only you and those you chose to know, will know.  Just remember, though, do your research on tattoo designs before walking through the tattoo parlor doors.  You will be glad you did.

Several Tips on Coordinating Your Blue Jeans

Denim has never been so prevalent in society as it is today. Ride a subway car in any major city and count up the number of people who're wearing jeans against the number in more formal wear - you'll be surprised to see how many people have made the decision to wear jeans. This is partly because jeans are so comfortable, but also because they can be dressed up or down to suit any situation.

Coordinating blue jeans with your outfit depends on what kind of event you plan to wear them to. For every day wear, jeans can be casual, worn with t-shirts and sneakers, and accessorized with necklaces, bracelets and earrings to have a put-together but easygoing feel. You can look at various lengths of cut, and try on all kinds of manufacturers to find a perfect fitting pair of blue jeans that make you look your best and fit any person's kind of style.

Where coordinating blue jeans gets exciting is when you decide to dress them up and take them out for a night on the town. Ultra-low-rise hipster jeans, or even higher rise jeans that help cover your tummy and accentuate your rear end can help give you confidence and make a simple night on the town into an exciting adventure! Try putting a dress on over slim fitting jeans to create a playful look, just make sure the dress and jeans fit well over your body to avoid unseemly lumps in the fabric.

The most important aspect of coordinating your blue jeans is that the fit has to be right. Wearing a pair of Pastry grade A skinny blue jeans with an oversized top (or a tight one, if you prefer) makes a great visual impact as you enter a room, and by combining these jeans with a stylish pair of heels, you can make them - and yourself - look like the elegant and savvy. When wearing jeans with high heels, opt for longer hems, so they look appropriate to your new height rather than making you look like your grade A's are too short.

The simpler your jeans are, the more your tops and accessories should stand out from them, while more designer jeans with numerous buckles, snaps and zips can be paired with plainer materials and accessories to let the them stand out.

One good rule of thumb is not to pair blue jeans with other denim elements. Wear a black leather jacket with your blue jeans, not a second piece of denim, because even if your jean jacket matches the color of your blue jeans, you're going to give the same effect as a woman who's wearing a single-color outfit - overkill.

If you're trying to maintain an elegant appearance, the pastry jeans you choose should be clean and well ordered, though pressing them to achieve creases (a la work slacks) is not advisable. For a more rumpled, tousled, cool appearance, you can wear your jeans with natural creases in them, and as long as they're clean you shouldn't feel awkward about wearing your jeans more than once.

Almost any color can be worn with blue jeans - from striking reds and oranges to cooler greens, blues and purples. Experiment with colors and makeup to put together a look that gives an air of effortless cool. Coordinating your blue jeans with the rest of your wardrobe can expand your selection of options by orders of magnitude without making you drop loads of cash on new pieces, and because blue jeans are so easy to mix and match, you can focus your wardrobe budget elsewhere - on pastry shoes, tops, jewelry, sunglasses, handbags and more - ultimately creating a fantastic, imaginative wardrobe that pulls all elements of your style and interest into one stunning outfit.

Indian Fashion - An Overview

India is known for its culture and tradition, which have translated well into their clothes. Fashion has been a feature of traditional India. Much like today, they have seen trends come and go, with some making a comeback after a few generations. This adds to the spice of Indian clothing, and it had drawn the eyes of trendy fashion designers in recent years.

Traditional Indian fashion features different styles of suits and sari. Later on, variations of fashion styles began coming out and into the welcoming arms of the market, and today, this generation of Indian fashion has fused Indian tradition and Western styles that feature short tops and low-rise jeans that leaves one's midriff exposed.

While styles have been known to come to pass, the Indian sari has retained its image of elegance, grace, and beauty. The sari has been there since the very start, but until now still has a commanding presence on recent fashion styles and trends. Sari is a simple, unassuming piece of rectangular cloth that can be wrapped around the body in a variety of ways. Indian saris are made from different fabrics, among them silk, cotton, crape, and georgettes, among others. They can be adorned and embellished with mirrors, embroidery, patchwork, pearls, and sequins. Some of the most popular saris are Kenjeevaram, hakoba, handloom, patola, phulkari, and chanderi.

Salwar Kameez is another type of clothing that has consistently been worn by women from different generations. It originated in the cities of Kashmir and Punjab, but the attire quickly spread to other parts of the country.

Indian attire is made beautiful by how it is worn, as well as the designs, patterns, and colors that were incorporated into the attire. Men's fashion in India has been as healthy as women's fashion. Men's wear have also started incorporating batik, tie-dye, and block prints into the traditional suit, making men look just as fashionable and fashion-conscious as women.

Lower Back Tattoos Sure Are Hot

Lower back tattoos gained popularity beginning around the late 1990's with Generation X. Recently the trend of lower back tattooing has increased in popularity. Lower back tattooing is chosen by many young women. Tattoos which are placed on the lower back seems to have become a way of expressing the sexuality of the women that sport them. Even though lower back tattoos have become commonly accepted by most Americans today, there are still some places that they are seen as an open statements of promiscuity.

Lower back tattoos have been designed to accentuate the natural curves that are common to female body. The body art can follow the sloping of the womans back on both sides of the womans spine. This is an area on the body that is thought of as one of the single most painful areas in which to place a tattoo. One good thing about choosing a lower back tattoo is that the lower back is an area of the body is the least likely to stretch during small weight fluctuations or even pregnancies. Lower back tattoos can be very versatile. The body art can be concealed under professional attire or displayed easily in a pair of low rise jeans paired with a revealing midriff top.

Since a lower back tattoo is of a rather intimate nature, it provides the wearer with a wide array of designs that can provide personal meaning and expression. Many times the design for the lower back tattoo can be amended to specifically reflect the individuality of the bearer including their shape and size. Doing this results in the creation of a design that that is truly unique to that individual. Nearly any design, can be worked into the design of the lower back tattoo. It could be floral, tribal, Celtic, or mythical. Really just about anything can be can be incorporated to make a very unique lower back tattoo.

Popular Designs for Lower Back Tattoos When you place floral designs on the lower back tattoo this is a symbol of fertility and beauty of the woman that has chosen the artwork. Some women might select a picture of spiraling energy. This would signifying a connection to the energy forces found in nature. The lower back is recognized as a chakra point. For this reason many people will choose this location for their tattooing in order to maintain balance in their personal energy. If the bearer chooses a Lion design for their lower back tattoo this is a symbol of courage and pride. If an eagle is chosen, the bearer demonstrates a desire for freedom. Almost any design that is v-shaped can be modified to work as a lower back tattoo. Go ahead and get creative with your designs. Any design that can remain symetrical can be used as a lower back tattoo.

Lower back tattoos can make very clear and sensual statements to viewers about the women who bear them. With the many options of different styles available, a woman that desires to wear a lower back tattoo should have absolutely no problem locating one that reflects her personal style. No matter what design is chosen it will surely be a beautiful lower back tattoo that will be appreciated by anyone that happens to see it.

Who Invented The Thong?

Ever walk down the street and noticed a woman in front of you? Being a man the first place you will look is at her butt and of course you notice those familiar thong lines that ride over the hip and you go smile a little bit just imaging yourself on how good she look with nothing but that thong on.

If you are like me you will begin to wonder who in the hell invented the thong in the first place? First in my mind for a thong to be invented it had to be invented by a man and not a woman. So I began to surf the internet and have found a few things. It is known that the thong has been around since 1933 when nude dancers wore them during their shows and performances. The thong was so risque during those times that in NYC the Mayor at the time Fiorello LaGuardia made a law against them. Not much else is know about it until the sexy 70's

The thong was invented by a man a fashion designer by the name of Rudi Gernreich back in 1974in Brazil. It wasn't until 1977 when it hit the beaches of brazil and on the bronze bodies of Brazilian women everywhere. Here in the US they are called "Thongs" everywhere else they are called "Tangas" a good name because it rhymes with "Nalgas" Spanish for "Butt Cheeks" Many songs have been written about the thong or tangas. Here in the US women needed a reason to wear thongs for every day wear. What they noticed is when they wore slacks there was no panty lines. More the reason to wear thongs I'd say.

Unfortunately thongs are not meant for every woman to wear. Heavy women or women who are not blessed with a nice round butt cannot and shouldn't wear these. Its only fair because you wont catch my overweight butt wearing nothing but a Speedo looking like peter from family guy.

Anyway browsing through the net I have found what they call a Thong Etiquette please read below.

"THONG ETIQUETTE"

1. If you're wearing low rise jeans (which, by the way, should ALWAYS be worn with tops that cover/tuck into/meet the band. Even if you don't have that Mushroom Fat hanging over wear LOW RISE THONGS! Yes, they make these. Try Macy's or Kohls for a fast, easy and often cheap grab at them. There's been a new word invented for thongs peaking or escaping from the top of jeans: WHALE TAIL.(be careful if you Google it...for obvious reasons)

2. If you don't have BUNS of STEEL then you might want to think about wearing SEAMLESS PANTIES. Again try Macy's or Victoria's Secret. We do NOT want to draw attention to our rears via Panty Lines OR Jiggly Bums.

3. If you are wearing something in which the Cling : Thong Line Ratio is way out of wack and we now have Thong Lines (which will not only draw attention but the WRONG kind) then, and please read carefully, WEAR STOCKINGS. Stockings are equipped with a Cotton Crotch, which you may be interested in knowing there was a time when NO undergarments had Breathable Crotches and it was creating quite the atmosphere down there...Cotton Crotch makes Stockings the equivalent of Panties hence you DO NOT NEED TO WEAR PANTIES WITH STOCKINGS. But if you choose to you don't have to worry about JIGGLY BUM or THONG LINES! Brilliant!

Whether it's the Devils panties or earthly necessities I think it is needed. In a world with so many uptight people sometimes a little glance never hurts no one especially me!

Until next time!

Low Rise Jeans

Trend of low rise jeans

It seems that the low rise jeans are here to stay. The trend that is so popular with the teenage boys and girls today, started in late 1990s and reached pinnacle when the popular pop star Britney Spear wore one of these jeans in her music album.

How do you wear low rise jeans?

As the name suggests, these jeans rest below the waist. It can be said that these jeans are working against the gravitational force and cannot be worn without belt since the waist does not support the jeans. Generally, low waist jeans will be 3 inches below the waist. But, super low waist jeans are gaining popularity. The zipper in these jeans is just about an inch and a half. The zipper is more of a fashion statement rather than a utility.

Popular varieties of low rise jeans:

Brazilian jeans: These jeans are stretchable and give comfort to the wearer, due to it's property to stretch. These also fit well to the curves of the body and are very popular with the girls.

Super low rise jeans: These jeans rest at about 6 inches below the waist are particularly famous with the younger generation. However, it may not be possible for many to carry these jeans well, for obvious reasons. The trend is to wear these jeans with muscle shirt.

Accessories of low rise jeans

Since it is impossible to keep these jeans in place without a belt, thick belts came in vogue. These belts give a feel of a rock star and are popular both with boys and girls. Secondly, since the back and navel are visible in the jeans, it gave rise to the trend of tattoos- again an inspiration from the rock stars. The trend of tattoos is popular both amongst boys and girls. While the girls get tattooed below the navel as well as on the lower back, boys get tattooed on the lower back. These jeans also gave rise to the trend of naval piercing. While tattoos look attractive, both on male as well as females, one need to be careful about the dyes and chemicals used in tattoos as well as the needle used for piercing. There are chances of getting infected, or you may be allergic to certain dyes and chemicals.

Like wise, the trend of low rise thong was set in females, as normal panties could no longer be used in these jeans.
